Why Manchester United deserve the Premier League-Champions League double!

Chelsea have hung on to Sir Alex Ferguson's coat tails with an frustatingly enduring quality - but it's still not enough. Arsenal fell off the ladder last week and Liverpool never really got on it.

'In terms of experience, management, youth, ability, longevity and attitude, I believe Manchester United tick every box'Of the current Big Four in English football, it is Chelsea and Manchester United who are currently challenging for both the Premier League and Champions League crowns.

Sportingo authors have exhausted the numerous reasons for Arsenal's highs and lows this season. All I will say is that if Arsene Wenger adds a no-nonsense leader of a centre-back and a penalty-box striker, coupled with keeping the fantastic talent that he has, then next season could be their year.

Liverpool's long-running sideshow this season has involved everyone from CEO Rick Parry to the American money-mad clowns to poor Rafael Benitez. Some shady characters have also helped to hinder Steven Gerrard and perhaps his constant neck injury this season has been caused by constantly looking over his shoulder. It's better than Brookside used to be - and a serious and embarrassing situation for a very prestigious and proud club to be mixed up in.

Manchester United and Chelsea fans have taken great pleasure in Liverpool's abject failure to sustain even a vaguely dangerous threat to the Premier League crown. In such trying times for the Anfield club, it has been a massive achievement to climb as far as they have in the Champions League.

If two finals and one astounding win had not been achieved, then the Merseyside club's supporters would have had nothing to hit back with. For many a season now, especially at this time, the Scousers have begun their predictions for the following term and who Liverpool will bring in to help them reach the summit. Hope, as they say, springs eternal.

Sir Alex Ferguson has seen and done it all before, while Chelsea have Jose Mourinho's legacy and spirit still with them. I do not rate Avram Grant and cannot see him being at the helm next season. With the players at his disposal it would have been an almighty disaster if Chelsea were not where they are right now. Grant didn't really have anything to fix after Mourinho's departure because nothing was broken. He has stabilised Chelsea but not tinkered too much. He hasn't needed to.

Chelsea have tasted Premier League glory recently and may grab it again this season; this Sunday will/should resolve everything. With the modern demand of leagues in Spain, Italy and Germany it is extremely difficult for teams to win domestically and also lift the Champions League, AC Milan and Liverpool being prime examples.

At this stage both sets of fans, Chelsea and Man United, will be foaming at the mouth with the prospect of winning both. If given the choice of one or the other, I do not see how any fan could choose. Perhaps some United fans would sacrifice the Premier League this season for Champions League glory. Ditto Chelsea. It is an intriguing question.

It is rather easy for Liverpool supporters for obvious reasons. Arsenal fans would have been going through exactly the same as the fans of the top two only a few short weeks ago. If you can't have both, one must weigh up the options of which one is wanted more.

If Liverpool were challenging on both fronts, would their fans' attitude change due to the years piling up since they were England's top dogs? Would Arsenal fans gladly take any one of them?

There is no doubt everyone would take both - but who is really equipped in terms of experience, management, youth, ability, longevity and attitude? As much as it pains me to say (and I support ManUTD) I believe Manchester United tick every box.

In terms of footballing ability, out of the top two in England and top four in Europe, United just shade Barcelona as the team who deserve to win the Champions League - for playing football how it should be played.

i recently came across a quote from pat riley, an nba basketball coach, that says this:


"great effort springs naturally from great attitude"
a well stated truth in my experience. it made me think about how i have been approaching some of the goals in my life. what is my attitude about this endeavor or that project?

it's not something we are necessarily accustomed to paying attention to. we plan and strategize, we consult with others about the best methods or the right tools to go after what we want, but we don't always remember to choose the proper attitude.

and even when we do think ahead and choose an attitude that is likely to inspire us and move us forward, it often fades away as we delve deeper into our project and encounter road blocks or u-turns.

if you find yourself dreading working on that project you wanted to add joy and excitement to your life, something might need adjusting. or if the goal you set for yourself last month which seemed like a great challenge now inspires boredom, perhaps your approach is not as effective as it might be.

Boot on Safe Mode on every profile

Important:
*Dont ever ever double click(even accidental, or redo boot safemode) on all DRIVES
*View Hidden files Tools-Folder Options-View Tab Select Show Hidden Files and Folders & uncheck

Hide protected operating system files(recommended)
*Donot double click .exe files with command or html icon

How to host a website @ Home.

If you want to make small site of your own and don’t want to pay for hosting prices, this article and exactly tell you how to do it.I had always wondered if I can host my blog or a small site on my laptop but well looking at traffic and security I can’t.
But if you want to make a website for friends and family this can be a good solution for u . You don’t have to pay any money for this. A friend was going through some magazine ( I am not sure which one ) and he told me about a software that really can help you hosting a web site on your own pc.I gave it a try and its really good.A small analysis and experience of this software in just 6 steps and its tested in Windows Xp, Vista you need to check
Step 1: Download and Run The Software
Download the HFS or Http file server.It is free and open source and above all that its a standalone executable that requires no installation.
When you run HFS you might be asked whether or not allow hfs.exe to connect to Internet.Unblock it.
But if you have 3rd party firewall you will have to configure it accordingly.
Step 2: Configure the port
By default HFS uses port 80.if you your firewall is blocking port 80, set HFS to some other port( for example to 8025 or which ever is free, as a precaution keep it above 1024 which is used my operating system itself.)
To change the port number, click on Port Number menu and enter a new one.
Also, if you are behind a router or firewall, you may in some rare cases, need to set up port forwarding. For all the help required for visit portfrward
Port-forward can help you out to set up port forwarding.There you can choose the router type and choose a program you want to set up port forwarding for, which is in our case is HFS.
Step 3: Test HFS
Now you need to test your settings before you start.Click the menu in HFS and choose self test.If the test completes successfully, your settings are correct and you are ready for next step, To point your web browser to your ip address.
Step 4: Register A domain
For setting up a web site, you need to first assign it a domain name.Domain name are aother name for a computer ip address.For this, you will need to a DNS service running on your computer which can be mapped to particular ip address.
Create a Create a new user at No-IP account.
Login to the site with the account you created.On the left-sidebar click on “Hosts/Redirects”
Click on Add.In the page that opens enter domain name of your choice e.g “myfamilypics” and It will create a sub-domain on its own server that will work on your ip.
Your IP is recorded when you add the domain name.If you ISP is blocking port 80, you can choose a redirect given under same page.
Click on “Create host” and you are ready to roll.
Access the same from your own browser.You can add your file In HFS and access the same.
Trust me I have done it and it works.But i cant give the link of my url ( as it is hosted on my computer) here keeping in mind the security issues which I am not aware of. SO you also should share it among your friends.
Step 5. Install The dynamic update Client
Skip this step if yo have a static ip.If you don’t, you will need a client software to take care of of your changing ip address.
Download the No-Ip.com Dynamic DNS update client software.
Install it and provide your login details.This program will sit in the system tray and automatically update your NoIp account when your external ip changes.
Step 6: Launch Your Website
You can now decide what page will appear when someone access your site, like the default page.To change the default page,
Open HFS and click on “You are in Easy Mode ” to turn it to advance mode.
Right click on little house icon on VFS and click on “Bind Root to Real Folder”.
Now you can add files and folder here which you want to make available in your website.
Next is when your site is ready send the address which you created in NO-IP or step 4 to all your friends.
You can even see what others are viewing in advanced mode of hfs
This helped me a lot to understand how things work when my blog is hosted and how do my hosting service works.This was a Small example on low scale basis for you to try and for people who want to run there host on there own system.Do tell me your experience when you try it.I will be glad.
Attention, Security Tip:You are using the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
I recommend Firefox instead of Internet Explorer for faster surfing and increased security.Firefox is free and considered by experts to be the best browser available.

A job or an entrepreneur?

If you haven’t done so already, Student Entrepreneurs will get to a stage where they graduate and must make the decision as to whether stay, or become, an entrepreneur, or alternatively go into a graduate job. It’s a big decision to make and there are advantages and disadvantages to both.
Being an entrepreneur at a young age means that you can start building your business early, you are in control of where you are going and have the potential to make it big early on. On the other side most graduates don’t have too much commercial experience and also there is the small issue of making a living. You need to be making a living and supporting yourself somehow
Going into a graduate job can teach you the skills needed to be in business, or have your own business, and get paid for it at the same time. Of course a lot of this will depend on what job you go into. A graduate training scheme in a big firm can teach you about many aspects of business and at the same time you can build your network up. In a small company you can get a lot more responsibility and variety in the role and also have the chance of seeing the business grow.
Whatever you choose my advice would be to think everything through carefully and whatever happens you are still young and can always start again.

• Most Student Entrepreneurs are young. Some people see this as a disadvantage, however, youth can be used as an advantage:
• A 20 year old becoming a millionaire is a bigger story than a 40 year old

Filter Ur Gf’s mails….8-)

If you hate seeing those mails( when i say mails these days, it obviously means gmails) 4m ur gf rite inside ur inbox wit her name and d subject line attracting one’s attention, well here is a way out to filter those mails into a label. Now start learning how to…

Let’s say that your email address is ‘bolan@gmail.com’, basically everything sent to any of the following email addresses will be forwarded to your primary email.
* bolan@gmail.com * b.olan@gmail.com
* bo.lan@gmail.com * bol.an@gmail.com
* bolan@googlemail.com * b.olan@googlemail.com
* bo.lan@googlemail.com
…
…
* bola.n@googlemail.com

And that’s not all, you can place as many dots as you want, it can be even something like ‘b.o.l.a.n@gmail.com’ and you’ll still get it on ‘bolan@gmail.com’

Additionally, I just also found out that you can embed random text to your email ID using ‘+’ sign. That is to say ‘bolan+logabolan@gmail.com’ can be used as your email address, as well.

Ok I got it. Now what ?

Now what u can do is use the above naming covention 2 ur advantage ( mayb ur gf’s as well)….
What u can do for instance is ask ur gf to mail u to the id- “bolan+bolathi@gmail.com” which will be forwarded to bolan@gmail.com (assuming u’ve understood the above naming convention for gmail).
Step 2 is “create a filter” (this link is availabe on the right side of search mail box inside ur gmail inbox), upon clicking u will have From:,To:,Subject:,Has the words:,Doesn’t have:. now in our case we will hv to enter the email id “bolan+bolathi@gmail.com”(which is the email id u askd ur gf 2 mail to, Bola!!) in the to field. Click next step and check the first option “skip the inbox”, then……… check the “apply label” nd choose a label if 1 already exist or else create a new 1(bolanteboli is my name for ur label ;)).

Now what this does is all those mails sent to d id “bolan+bolathi@gmail.com” skips the inbox and is forwarded to d label “bolanteboli”.

Now u may ask y such hassles when u can directly filter mails coming 4m a particular id say bolathi@gmail.com.

Here is a better answer, what if u hv more than 1 girlfriend( which is not at all alien these days)?? u will have to create more than 1 filter, i.e 1 each filter for each gf’s mail id (like 1 for bolathi@gmail.com,bolathi2@gmail.com,bolathi3@gmail.com……. bolathi19@gmail.com). well that depends on how many gfs u ultimately have.

So thats y i say the “bolan+bolathi@gmail.com” is the better hack( esecially if u hv multiple gfs). You can give the id “bolan+bolathi@gmail.com” to all ur gfs nd all those “junk” mails will b accumulated in d label bolanteboli.
Hope theres no confusion ;)………

This hack can be used to 1’s advantage not only in d case of gfs but also in many other extra usefull cases. like if u r registering at a site nd u dont want their confirmation mails to appear inside ur inbox u can provide the site with a “+” id, say “bolan+site@gmail.com” nd create a filter for that.

Bottomline: Now please dont assume that i personally use this hack ……….
